Chloe

Chloe B.

(age 13, SP) – Chloe has a neuromuscular disease that makes going outside to play with the other kids painful and difficult. Over the years, Chloe has become a gamer kid, and her favorite character being Sonic the Hedgehog. So much so that she has a pet hedgehog named Kyle! Chloe wishes to have a room makeover, complete with a gaming computer and a new living space for Kyle! We’re partnering with SDSN to make Chloe’s wish a reality!

Jaxson

Jaxson C.

(age 5, SP) – Jaxson was diagnosed with lissencephaly, a rare brain malformation. This causes him to be dependent on his parents and equipment, most likely for the rest of his life. Jaxon and his family have wished for a hot tub for Jaxon. Being in water bring Jaxon so much joy! The hot tub will allow him to enjoy that more often, and at a little more ease for his parents. We have partnered with Pool World of Spokane to make this adorable little man’s wish come true!

Edward

Edward M.

(age 8, TC)  – At first glance Edward seems like an average 8-year-old boy who loves Percy Jackson, video games, football and tortilla soup. He is silly and energetic, enjoys camping with his family, fishing and baseball. You wouldn’t know it just by looking at him, but this sweet little boy spent over 100 days in the hospital battling Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia over the course of two years. Edward dreams of visiting a “warm beach” with his family. So we are working on putting together a magical and memorable trip to California. Edward’s courage and hope inspire us, and we can’t wait to make his wish come true.

Lacey

Lacey P.

(age 11, TC) – Lacy has a rare genetic disorder, which means lots of trips to different doctors, including have to travel back and forth to different cities on a regular basis. Despite the time and energy this takes, Lacy continues to dream of becoming a zoologist or veterinarian some day! Her love of animals started at a very young age, bottle feeding foster puppies at age 2! Lacey participates in 4-H, volunteers on a pig farm, and has even helped birth baby pigs! Lacey’s wish is to have a backstage experience at a zoo! She wants to learn everything there is to know about working one of her dream jobs, Zoologist!

Madelyn

Madelyn S.

(age 11, SP) – Madelyn is the sweetest little lady you could ever meet. She has spastic quadriplegia cerebral palsy, which causes physical delays, speech delays and sever susceptibility to germs and illness. Madelyn came to Wishing Star to participate in our VGo program during COVID, and has been enjoying being back virtually in her classroom on a daily basis with her classmates again! However, Madelyn’s wish is to meet Broadway star Ben Platt star of “Dear Evan Hansen” and “Pitch Perfect”. Madelyn might be star struck when they meet, but her smile will win over any heart, even Ben’s!
